Betsy loves the opportunity to work with talented youth and help YIA become stronger. Betsy has worked as a writer, policy advocate, and fundraiser with social service, education, and civil rights non-profits. She has a Masters in Public Policy and Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wellsley College. Betsy is a member of the RI Board of Regents for Elementary and Secondary Education where she chairs the Finance Committee. She is the Co-President of the PTA at her children's school. She lives with her husband, Ken and their two children.
