Betsy loves the opportunity to work with talented youth and help YIA become stronger. Betsy has worked as a writer, policy advocate, and fund raiser with social service, education, and civil rights with non-profits. She has a Masters in Public Policy and Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wellsley College. Betsy is a member of the RI Board of Regents for elementary and secondary education where she chairs the finance committee. She is the Co-President of the parent teacher group at her children's school. She lives with her husband Ken and their 2 children.
