Maryellen Butke is the Director of Organizational Development at the Met School, a consultant at the Learning Community Charter School, and a faculty member in the MAT Program at Johnson and Wales University.  Maryellen is happiest when working with systems and networks in improving opportunities for young people. Along with her current role at the Met, she rounds out her experiences by also working as a therapist and ordained minister as well as a dedicated partner and mother of two children. Maryellen holds her Masters and Doctoral Degrees from Smith College School for Social Work and her B.S. from Providence College. She is also a graduate of Leadership Rhode Island as well as the Simmons School of Management, Strategic Leadership for Women, and a Policy Fellow with the Women’s Fund of Rhode Island.
