TITAN is a violence prevention program for children ages 9 - 13. The program started four years ago, after the friends of many YIA members had been killed from gun-violence. They wanted to reach out to the younger youth population, by being positive role models to middle school youth, and teaching them how to solve their problems without resorting to violence.
TITAN's 8-session curriculum took a year to develop and uses interactive games, skits, and role-plays to engage middle-school youth. YIA youth educate younger students about conflict resolution skills, anger management, and self-esteem issues. TITAN's curriculum has been taught to more than 400 youth at numerous sites, including schools and community centers.

YEAH team teaches a 12-session health curriculum, that was entirely written by YIA youth, in high schools and community centers. The curriculum is certified by the Rhode Island Department of Health and has been proven effective through pre- and post-testing. Using a peer-to-peer education model, YIA youth educators teach their peers about HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, teen pregnancy, and substance abuse. This program has reached over 5,000 youth with its highly effective curriculum.
